The PVA Bass Tour needs boaters and non-boaters for the tournament on Grand Lake September 19 -21, 2003

We are in need of boaters and non-boaters alike. Please help were you can we have between 70-80 anglers and disabled veterans with a physical disability registered and are in need of quite a few boats at this point. You won't be sorry its the best time you will ever have at a fishing tournament!

Hosts the Mid-America Bass Tournament, the 5th stop on the PVA Tour.

Grand Lake, OK. September 19th-21st 2003

Hosted by the Paralyzed Veterans of America and the Oklahoma B.A.S.S. Federation, Inc.

This is our tenth year to hold a Tour event in Oklahoma but the first time to hold it on Grand Lake. We are in need of able-bodied boat partners, both boaters and non-boaters to go out fishing with anglers that have a mobility impairment. The entry fee for a partner is $50.00 This fee includes the following:

Friday night reception with foods during registration and partner pairing.

A goodie bag which includes a PVA Bass Tour Hat and T-shirt along with assorted tackle.

A continental breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday.

Lunches for both partners from Subway Deli, also includes Ice and water for lunch to put in your boats on both Saturday and Sunday.

Entry into the team division, Saturday Sept. 20th. On Saturday both you and your mobility impaired partner fish together as a team. With a guaranteed first place pay-out of $1,000.00 cash and prizes to the top 10 teams and big bass entry for team day.

A free Partner’s Appreciation dinner Saturday night.

Sunday Sept. 21st, is the Open competition for the mobility impaired anglers, only they will compete on Sunday. As their able-bodied partner you will act as mentor and guide. Able-bodied partners will win cash and prizes based on where their mobility-impaired angler finishes in the standings on Sunday.

The weigh-in is "drive through" so we will have folks to load and unload you and your boat and drive you through the weigh-in. Your mobility impaired angler partner pays ˝ the gas and oil money on Saturday’s team day and all the gas and oil money on Sunday’s Open day.
