The Tulsa Metro Bass League held its third regular season event “The MotorGuide/ Pinpoint Open” on Saturday, June 15 at Grand Lake out of Martin Landing.  Robert Boone of Sapulpa and Glen Black of Grove topped the 44-boat field with their 5-fish stringer weighing in at 13.94 lbs, worth $550.

In a close Second, Mike Brown of Chouteau and Rick Newman of Broken Arrow took home a check for $395 for their limit of 13.69lbs.

Third Place and $240 went to Kenny Keeter of Claremore and Jimmy Keeter of Catoosa, also with a limit at 13.13 lbs.

Big Bass of the tournament was a 6.69 lb largemouth weighed in by Vance Montgomery of Claremore and Dave Roush of Skiatook.  Big Bass paid $220.

Of the 44 boats competing, 39 teams weighed in a total of 137 fish for a total combined weight of 281.11 lbs, including 13 limits. Click here to see how the teams finished.

The next Tulsa Metro Bass League tournament “The Keystone Chevrolet Open” is scheduled for Saturday, June 28 at Lake Keystone out of the New Mannford Ramp.  The pre-tournament meeting will be held on Thursday, June 26th at 6:00pm at Okiebug in Tulsa.  Entries received prior to that time will be placed in the drawing for boat position.  Entries received after the drawing will be placed at the end of the field, but will be required to weigh in with the first flight.  Contact Dave Roush at (918) 396-4497 or via e-mail at for more information.
